I think you're dreaming on this one. It has even less chance now that in 1947. The ability to perpetuate the conflict over holy sites lies in people's heads; internationalization only guarantees the next war.

Hmmm... maybe you can elaborate on this. I personally believe that internationalization of Jerusalem, possibly under UN control, is integral to obtaining peace and taking protection and control over the holy sites out of the equation.

I also believe that Israel and Palestine can both establish the city as their individual capitals.

And I agree that there has been more desecration of Jewish holy sites by the Palestinians and Jordanians, than has been the case against Muslim sites.
