DJ O'Neill/Debt Limit -2: Seeks $750 Bln Increase By March

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--U.S. Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill told lawmakers Wednesday
that the federal government should increase the $5.95 trillion debt limit by $750 billion as soon as
March.

"We need to do something about this in March and the sooner in March the better," O'Neill said,
testifying before the House Budget Committee.

O'Neill said that the federal government has no choice in the matter, given the cost of the war on
terrorism and the current economic slowdown. O'Neill said it is his "fervent prayer" that lawmakers
don't raise taxes to pay for the unexpected costs incurred this year.

Funds which buy profitable companies? How Un-American. Just buy stocks that beat the street. <g>

Here's a closed fund and and exchange a I've thought about because somebody mentioned them here or over on KT's forum:

finance.yahoo.com
finance.yahoo.com

I think the combination of a low Nikkei & high US Dollar versus the Yen will eventually bode well, just not sure if it's this year or not.
