You've gotta love... you live long enough and pay attention, you see most everything. David Rocker of Rocker Partners was on CNBC a few minutes ago. He's been doing some stock shorting for years in his fund. He mentioned two stocks RVDP and BBOX that have been doing big rollups, acquiring a number of companies to inflate earnings by using pro forma accounting. And wouldn't you know, the stocks which are onscreen as he talks about them start going down. Talk about the Mirror image of 2 and 3 years ago when analysts and managers would tout a long tech stock and it would soar upward in price.... LOL
