I think some people's incredible luck may be running out lately -g- getting to the point where nobody wants to hold anything OVERnight. btw, there's a ms. fitness contest currently on Fox Sports channel, much more stimulating than CNBS and similar in news content

Don't you sometimes miss the enthusiasts who used to come bombing in and insult you day after day for suggesting that various NASDAQ stocks might be somewhat overpriced?

Some time back I exchanged notes with a former Lucent (as distinct from lucid) investor who had written scathingly to me when I questioned its selling for (pre-last-split) over 100. "Oh that's a terrible piece of trash!" he said. "I dumped Lucent long ago."

After it dumped him, I guess. Yes, I once had a girl friend who rather resembled Lucent. She's gone from dumper to dumpy.
Found her on the Internet not too long ago, actually. She waddles around Connecticut conducting bird-watching seminars. Lying on her back, she now resembles --I imagine-- the long-term chart for Lucent:
