At the same time, the post-silicon era is probably 15-20 years away. At least. Is this something like the prediction that the death of optical lithography is no more than 10 years away? <g> I believe that prediction has been renewed annually since 1970... I think you can be assured that the post-silicon era (e.g., the onset of organics bandied about at Lucent's Bell Labs)will occur faster and with greater certainty than the supposed death of optical lithography.
