I'm disappointed, though not surprised, that there are a lot of people who are more interested in participating in a helpful way when they are making money hand over fist than when they are losing it hand over fist. That's why I especially appreciate the people such as Pirah who contribute regularly to our forum in a helpful, courteous style regardless of the market direction at the time.

I am a fairly religious reader of this thread and also appreciate Pirahs' posts. That's one reason I bothered to ask the question this morning, thinking I might have overlooked footnote #53 that detailed the off balance sheet partnerships, and that he had picked up on it, given that he seems to be very thurough. I half expected a "do your own homework, bozo" or a "you mean you didn't notice footnote #53, you moron" type of reply, but put that down to my own paranoia. Anyway, he apparently was attempting humor and I apparently am too thin skinned today. I give him a lot of credit for class, and will now move on, relieved that he was only talking capital expenditures but licking my wounds over the recent price action in everything I own.
