OK. I'll buy that. :-) I wonder if the Europeans have noticed that a lot of the world's best brains end up living in the US and boosting its economy- -because they can. And the shortsighted protect-my-job-first policies of Europe (and essentially the rest of the world too) end up benefiting the US. The term "brain drain" was first applied to the traffic in humans between the US and Britain- -and they were getting their educations at the expense of the British taxpayer and the US got the benefit. The effect is so fantastic that it can even overcompensate for the lousy union-dominated US educational system.
