>>><So why CSCO is collapsing after hours?><<<

I think posters have seen most any company report good earnings only to see the stock fall apart the next day. We have seen a lot of this pattern in the past few weeks.

The problem gets resolved when too many investors try to get a head start on the market and sell ahead of time. All of a sudden the pattern changes...for whatever reason.

I'd bet that CSCO opens flat to up and continues to rally for the rest of the day.

FWIW....Friday will also be an up day....this market is looking for a reason to rally and CSCO is it.

The pattern this week has been upside open with a collapse within a few hours. As soon as too many investors try to capitalize on a pattern a reversal of the pattern takes place.
