Hi Dave, regarding CSCO -- the report was good, which is better than the report being bad. And you are right, CSDCO is a bell weather. Is that another phrase for "sacred cow", lol ? Maybe it dawned on everyone when Chambers said "challenging" he meant that his biggest customers are filing for Chapter 11 or close to it and maybe buying a whole new fleet of Cisco routers & switches may not be what's foremost on their minds. By the way -- I am being kind by assigning CSCO a PE range of 30 to 40. CSCO is a $12 stock. MSFT is a $50 stock, ORCL is a $10 stock, and INTC ... $25 ? The good news is these prices aren't too much below where they are now. Also I -- and I don't mean to alarm anyone -- but when an oversold market doesn't find support -- and there seems to be no let up to the bad news -- it can lead to a "Black Monday" style event. Bad for longs, but great for traders. Chris
