<<Gold is going to FREAKIN EXPLODE! >>

Funny you say that. I was seriously lectured tonight about how buying gold as a safe haven for currency and stock devaluation and panic is silly... "Those days went away with the Romans..."

"You're playing Russian Roulette with your IRA"... and so on.

I have a feeling they might be coming to me for money in the future. <G> no wait... <NG>

LLCF, Gold is going to FREAKIN EXPLODE! I'm not that bullish just a pragmatist lookin' for some capital preservation<g> It's hard fightin' the Fed/ECB/ESF/IMF/treasury/GS/JPM and the like, they are a tad bigger than us...but IF, we all gang up on em...well..we might have a snowballs chance<g>

first we would have to wake up da sheeple and ya know how hard that is<g> I mean they seem to have an affinity for gettin' shagged....

this story I heard this morning on the radio said that the Japanese were buying gold ... and euros ... and dollars -- ANYTHING to get out of yen. Whoever came up with the idea of limiting the insurance on their bank accounts was a doofus and a half. If they were trying to deliberately weaken the banks and currency at the same time, they couldn't have done any better. What do they think? That Americans can absorb any more goods than they are now? Weakening their currency doesn't make sense ... why can't they just lay some folks off like we do

Dak:

As discussed earlier by several on this thread, while most folks consider only the big three currencies, that ancient fourth one simply won't go away. Got "mellow yellow"? (g)

Best, Earlie
