Rules would rein in stock analysts

msnbc.com

Note: I didn't even know analysts could buy the stocks that they touted, man am I naive, I sorta assumed they couldn't. What a great scam that must have been! Here's how I would have played it. When the stock was low, downgrade it, then buy 1 million shares on margin. Wait a little while, then upgrade it. Reiterate upgrade at the top of the range and sell like mad into the buying wave the reiteration created. Buy Porsche. Send wife shopping. Go on spree in Vegas.
