Big fat witch hunt is what it looks like to me. How many hedge funds have been short? How hard would it be to push down a stock on some accounting rumor when we're inundated with enron and tyco every night? If everyone is afraid to buy (or is already invested) then sellers outstrip buyers pretty quick.

The IC chips are pretty expensive. But it would seem like the csco inventory burn off is a good thing for it's suppliers. If inventory is lower, then simply restocking makes demand rise. Clearly, csco guiding for flat revenues or not much up, isn't great.... unless they were using inventory and now have to start repurchasing.

At least we didn't get a horrible weather report from John Chambers this time.

Curious as to what wcom has to say. Awful lot of volume on that one. I sure hope it's not another big blow up.
