Hi Baldur, it's funny you should say that. I've suggested a 4 for 1 reverse split as well. The reason I think it's necessary is that this stock will have extreme difficulty growing henceforth because of that 7.5 billion o/s share number. A reverse split is awful, because it typically cause the stock to lose relative value, so shareholders don't like it. However, in this case, short term pain may be the only way for Cisco to experience good stock price growth again. It's the only thing that will shock the price back to fundamentally based values (such as DCF values).
