Netro Corporation Names Man Wong President, Netro China
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 2002--Netro Corporation (Nasdaq:NTRO - news), a leading provider of broadband wireless access systems, today announced the appointment of Man Wong to President, Netro China. Wong will be based in Beijing, and will be responsible for expanding Netro's sales, manufacturing and customer service efforts in China. Having joined Netro in 1999, Wong was previously Vice President, Operations for Netro.

In this new role, created to emphasize the importance of the China market to Netro's overall strategy, Wong will be responsible for Netro's operations, sales and marketing in China as well as possible local manufacturing and strategic relationships with operators. Wong will continue to develop Netro's strategic relationships with system integrators in China. Wong's appointment comes as part of a strategic push by Netro to focus on the China market for fixed wireless access deployments.
