Yes but in that case the download sizes increases (worst case by a factor of two with two supported processor architectures). Also there are already lots of Pocket PC 2002 applications available that are ARM only and had to be recompiled. I think it was a mistake for Microsoft to support more than one processor architecture from the start. Palm did much better with only one architecture. It's both easier for the customer and the developer. Having said that, I don't think it's impossible that MS will go back to support multiple processor. But I think it's unlikely with StrongARM having a big presence already and XScale to be introduced in a month.
