The difference is that Clinton had just signed the largest tax increase in history - an anti-stimulus.

Clinton's "stimulus" was merely pork - spending - for the special interests that control the Dem party.

And what makes it worse - Clinton ran on a tax cut!

The GOP plan is different because it gives money back to the real economy by taking less out of it. Business would have more money to spend on plant and equipment and less need for layoffs.

We don't need a stimulus package. We need long term, stable, pro-growth policies in place. This is the only answer to the SS, Medicare, etc. time bombs.
