Eric L: One of the qualities I find helpful with Qualcomm is that the chip process is laid bare - and the estimates for delivery are available well ahead of time and in detail.

This is openness which is helpful for a learner like myself.

As with every schedule there are revisions due to a multiplicity of causes. That happens in life as we know it.

What surpises me is how close Qualcomm comes to carrying out its plans in many cases given the scope of them and Qualcomm's dependence on matters in which it has influence but not control - such as politics and policies in different parts of the world, overall economic and industry trends which are difficult to forcast, and the willingness of those who use CDMA in its various flavors to act with some degree of predicability.

Looks like we can expect some useful real world info on a series of subjects related to Qualcomm in the second half of this year, with considerably greater clarity as next year runs its course.

I expect little concrete prior to that, but perhaps will be surprised. Expect patience will be necessary.

Hanover seems more like where "products" are displayed.

Does Texas Instruments show off its wares there?

Will you be able to give us an eye witness report?

In any event, look forward to your views based on first hand observation or however you form the basis for them.

Best as always.
