This Lehman (LEH) looks like a smart stock.

Lehman Brothers smartens up staff

Lehman Brothers has reversed a dressing down policy it introduced in 1999.

From next month, suits and ties are back for men. Women must wear skirts, trouser suits, or dresses.

Lehmann Brothers was one of the first companies to encourage staff to dress casually during the dotcom boom of the late 1990s.

The new rules are seen by some as a sign that the corporate world has abandoned the attitudes of the dotcom boom.

A spokesman for Lehman Brothers has told Ananova: "We have always had a fairly flexible dress policy and have asked staff to use their discretion.

"Most of our client-facing staff have always adopted smarter dress, as have the investment banking staff."
