That's aroung 10 M shares or $100M. When I looked at it I decided there was a pretty good chance it was, to a large degree, a 'Momentum Short'. Just like you have stocks that go up because they have, you have stocks that go down bucause they have. That's 'the trend is your friend' at work. By the same token, when you finally get the blow-off top or bottom the reversals can be fast and long. Re: <It sounds like you are doing okay?!!> LOL. It depends on how you look at it. I have three account categories. Long term retirement -- Up ~ 6% since January '00. 80% government bonds, 20% reasonably well diversified equity holdings -- about 3/4 of my market holdings. Current trading account. Down 66% from January, '00. 50% cash, 50% speculative. For short term stuff. CMM, INGR, SGMA, USU, AKAM, NTAP, RMTR, AMD, currently. About 15% of holdings. I listed that stuff in order of purchase. By the time you get to AKAM you're post 9/11. The CMM may perish as a result of the KM bankruptcy, imo. Very shakey! Tax sheltered retirements -- Down 25% from January, '00. 75% cash. ingr, tpth, yanb. about 10% of holdings. None of these positions are less than 2 years old. About 10% of market holdings. Re: <Acting badly today> I've certainly seen better. Looks like there was a big buy around 1:30 -- stock went positive as somebody bought ~ 175,000 shares, but it's dropping off again now. Maybe it was those Executives that convinced the company to give them permission to do an insider buy against company policy *BECAUSE THE STOCK IS SOOO UNDERVALUED* LOL! tgptndr
