The productivity numbers cheered me up. Valuations and the slimey residue of bubblelonia are more concerns for me. People talk about the Japanese banking crisis -- it is a testimony to the price people pay when they can't clean the slime from their systems -- I hope we are better than that, but the bubble is still with us.
