<msft...They never include the additional $20 billion in long term investments> Might be a good reason for that at MSFT? And there might be a good reason SUNW shouldn't include theirs. We should check? If the long term investments are primarily not easily convertible into cash then they shouldn't be included as a cash item. MSFT might be a lot of venture investments that can't be turned to cash? Or might be in securities that aren't marketable? Etc. So could SUNW's. It should be detailed somewhere in the 10k or Q.
