net charges for the quarter == revenues for the quarter???

I said companies couldn't fake sales, but stuff like this makes one wonder ...

biz.yahoo.com

>>TriQuint reported a net loss of 46 cents a share, including net charges of $60.8 million, for the fourth quarter, compared with net income of $64.7 million, or 47 cents a share, a year earlier. The company warned in December that it expected to report a fourth-quarter loss.

The maker of chips for wireless phones and other communications products, reported income before items of $1.2 million, or 1 cent per share, in the fourth quarter. Analysts' average estimate was for a loss of 2 cents per share, according to market research firm Thomson Financial/First Call.

TriQuint said revenue fell to $65.4 million in the fourth quarter from $136.6 million a year earlier. The company expects revenue of $60 million to $65 million in the first quarter and expects to begin to post sequentially improved sales in the second half of the year as its markets improve.
