Well, if you use qcharts, and type in qc:tick.nq, you are supposed to be looking at a tick reading that is calculated by qcharts. If you type in index:tick.nq, you are supposed to be looking at a tick calculated by the index. On qcharts, both of those are the same, on my screen.

Esignal has what it calls NASDAQ Cumulative Tick
$TICKQ which esignal calculates, and Yahoo's is "NASDAQ TICK", the source is "NasdaqSC" whatever that is.

This all with the help of "OX", and SI poster.
