Today was an interesting day. They sold-off at the last minute as if this was the last opportunity to do so. So the only question that remains for tomorrow is who wants to go over the weekend holding; longs or shorts. Considering that most longs that wanted to sell probably already sold, I would put my money on the shorts and bet that tomorrow would be a day to cover.

I agree with you. This down trend will not go pass next week. The stocks have now been beaten enough for funds to jump in. Interesting, the semis where the ones hit hard today. It seems that the software sector has hit bottom. The airlines seemed well positioned as well. I actually picked up some AMR today.
