Hypo- fishy <g>:

I know of a very successful NQ trader who makes most of his trades off a one or two minute chart and holds for usually just a few minutes, looking for maybe 5-8 points per trade, same as you. He has a publicly-stated goal to make $1.2 million this year. He trades 20 contracts at a pop. Nothing wrong with your strategy, from that standpoint.

My longest hold today was 15 minutes, not counting what I held overnight. I usually would do better holding longer, tho. One of my demons is taking myself out of winning trades too soon.

I would be glad to discuss my trading style, but I warn you that I am not much of a trader and my style is pretty unorthodox. But, since I made the switch from trading QQQs to NQs recently, I will share with you what I can about that. In many ways, the Qubes are harder, IMHO.
