It definitely is luck at this point as my model is designed to beat the market over longer term periods of one year plus. I'm just up by chance so far. After putting so much work into the model, I wanted to stick my neck out and document the trades. This thread seemed like a good one since it is a market direction discussion and not many posters here to beat on me if the model doesn't do well for awhile (g). Do you really think we are in a bear market? My feeling is we are in a correction of a bull that started in September. Perhaps the correction is becoming quite severe due to Enron enduced uncertainty over the impact of tighter accounting policies in the future. IMHO many managers are re-thinking how flexible they want to be with their accounting now. Tom
