i couldn't believe my eyes at first, but if you think about it, it's not really very surprising. btw., i found it astonishing that JPM, after ignoring scores of articles published all over the web about their alleged exposure to gold (i say alleged because no-one knows how their massive gold derivatives book looks on a netted out basis) found it necessary to come out with a press release to deny a rumor that they lost money in the recent rally. it seemed very odd.
