Heinz:

Japan..... a black hole indeed.

And a huge problem from another point of view. For years, Japan was the "banker to the world". Now, that banker is bust.

Best, Earlie

70% - those silly WS strategists. Worse timers than the BOE. What was their weighting at the last low? Pretty high then too though wasn't it.

I'm about 50% long in my trading accts., but if we visit the 2001 lows, and hold, I'll add another 25%.

Have a look at the NYSE Up/Down volume chart. We're right there at the late October lows. We've been churning for a couple of days here now- and today the up exceeded the down volume. Could be a big rally here. We could also crash- there is a crescendo of fear building. I think it's- Hold the puts, but be ready to sell them.

I'm really thinking the miners need to correct here. Too dangerous in them otherwise.

Inflation is coming, IMO. The city is raising my water rates by 50% next month. State income tax and sales tax are going to be bumped up by 1% each also, That's a hefty increase too- currently at 5% Sales and 4.4% Inc tax. Also, I've been getting bigger increases at work recently.

Gasoline just went up 7% here last week, and it's not coming back down this time. It's coming- ol' Easy Al is working OT. Just a few examples that someone outside the heartland of the U.S. may not have noticed.

Japan- who cares Japan. They're in the eternal bear market.
Short and hold until proven otherwise. <g>

Regards,
TW
