Re: No doubt, the option exists for SUN to use AMD components. Paul, if SUN were ever to start marketing Dual Processor Athlon MP servers, it would represent a very significant endorsement of AMD's server platform. It would shatter Intel's hold on the Tier 1 PC compatible server market. But I'll believe it when I see it. OTOH, Compaq has started to offer an Athlon 4 notebook in it corporate line, so maybe Intel's hold on its markets really is slipping.
