VNCI Appoints John F. Baney Vice President, Sales and Marketing

To Leverage Extensive Experience in Enterprise Network Sales

and International Channel Development

PORTSMOUTH, N.H., Feb. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- (OTC:VNWC) Video Network
Communications, Inc. (VNCI), a leader in enterprise video networking, today announced the appointment
of John (Jack) F. Baney to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Baney is chartered with
spearheading VNCI's penetration into Fortune 500 companies, expanding its channel programs and
reseller relationships, and developing an international sales and marketing infrastructure.

During his 28 years at IBM, Jack Baney developed a reputation for innovative leadership and a track
record of consistently exceeding sales goals and revenue objectives. As Worldwide Director of
Marketing, Networking, Baney established a global marketing infrastructure to support over 1200
networking sales reps; created a direct response marketing program that increased revenue from $9
million to $90 million in two years; and developed an international business partner program that doubled
business unit revenue. Most recently, Jack Baney held the position of Worldwide Director of Sales,
Service Provider Channel, establishing an international sales force to recruit telecom, Internet and
application service providers as a channel for IBM's e-Business solutions. As a result of the new

Well, I have one fifth of the VNCI shares I used to have and they are now called VNWC, but I still have the same number of VNWCW as I had of VNCIW. I guess that each one will only get me one fifth of a VNWC share.
