What you asked for: bull and bear scenarios. The trouble is the bear scenario just doesn't look bearish: cres.anu.edu.au cres.anu.edu.au I know, I've kept looking for the bottom and it didn't arrive. The 50% NDX retrace is 1410 and so we are now at 1414. These counts look convincing (maybe not). My weekly (and daily of course) autoregressive NDX indicator is now on buy as is the daily SPX (there is another sell on KKD :)). News Corp is ignoring the fall in the US and up 50 Aussie cents - about 4%. David
