it was definitely meant as a multi-partisan, equal-opportunity jab! Also your comment about crushing the idealism out of our children had me ROTFL, that comment hit the mark It's funny how accepted the cash-and-carry political system has become. Should be intense in DC, thankfully, looking at O'Neal breaking down today, Hastert and DeLay sabre-rattling, and I'm sure we'll get some idea of the anti-reform Dems, leaked and spun by their opposition. The pressure is on, crime is afoot, billions are stake, political fortunes are suddenly at risk, and everybody's watching ! Thank heavens for the internet and CSPAN keeping the media at least partly honest (certain crucial areas excepted). I just imagine what we'd be seeing on pre-packaged media at this point. Answer:nothing but two party lines, and a "compromise", i.e., no compaign finance debate at all.
