It all depend on the form of the crystal. If it's cubic, volume is a*b*c.

Density of diamond is 3,5 mg/cubic mm

One carat is 200 mg

So you «cubic» diamond has a volume of 1,728 cubic mm, is weighting 6,048 mg or 30.24 carats.

If it's octahedral, you divide by 3, so it's a 10.08 carats diamond.
