If average Joe defrauds Banks, retirefolks and school children out of millions of dollars I guarantee you a Judge would freeze any and all assets purchased with the money. I see nothing wrong with freezing the assets (not confiscate or sell) when one has creditable evidence of fraud.

I agree my comment was trival in nature but proactive thinking is the only action left for the victims. No one really knows where the Billions are except the head honchos and if their assets are frozen they will start talking. Fastow can plead the Fifth for months on end and by that time the trail is cold.

CALIPER was investing millions in the power producers during the Californian crisis and reaping hugh profits. Enron gave all Texans a bad name in California but if you look at the players that made all this possible you will find the trail leads through Wallstreet right up to the politicians. The average Californian and Texan together suffer and the leaders of the pack move on to another scheme.
