Petz, re: "when is Apple scheduled to release OS X?"

Hmm. Some time ago - about a year ago - and now shipping on all Apple computers.

Re: when is Apple scheduled to release OS X?

It's shipping and we have some users running it.

It's basically a unix variant (branching off, I think, BSD), and seems to work quite well.

That Microsoft ships office for OSX means that they could probably ship it for Linux without too much trouble - why do you suppose they haven't?

:-)

Petz,

OS X ("Ten") is already out. And, my only reason so believe that Apple will adopt Hammer is because I think it makes sense. I have been advocating it for a long time.
