Re: when is Apple scheduled to release OS X? It's shipping and we have some users running it. It's basically a unix variant (branching off, I think, BSD), and seems to work quite well. That Microsoft ships office for OSX means that they could probably ship it for Linux without too much trouble - why do you suppose they haven't? :-)
