- Tyco looks like Allstate a few years ago - & Allstate doubled - b/c a company w/ a track record of earnigns w/ eventually start buying back shares & get to a decent p/e

- right now, Tyco has "normalized" earnings of $4 or so - & interest rates are all under 5% - so a p/e of 20 or more is about right - so a stock price of $80 or better is when i'd get concerned - but now, under $30, it's a joke
