Earlie,

Do you think that there is even a remote possibility that, in a widespread financial disaster, there could be a default on payments for option contracts (I am thinking of my LEAP calls on NEM)?

I mean, if J. P. Morgan failed and disappeared, could that leave me with a claim on nonexistent assets?

Mike Burke thinks there is no reason to worry.

I just want to check every angle. For example, I figure that even if terrorists hit the vault of my bank with a bazooka and set it on fire, my gold would simply melt into a valuable puddle and I would still have it.

Thanks, T.
