Re : "non-cash consideration" -- I guess rights to GSM intellectual property rights (and the ability to say "forget about it" on the spin-off of the semiconductor business into a separate company)

obtained through some (in my opinion) brilliant "horse trading" with Texas Instruments (or maybe some other company)

is just another example of that "sneaky" "scary" "off balance sheet" type stuff

that scares the pinheads who blindly listen to someone like (the "great") ... Center for Financial Research & Analysis.

How about lawyers who switch from law firms to becoming "in-house counsel" ?

How 'bout Navy pilots who become pilots at Southwest Airlines ?
