Hi David, Just looked in on QCOM. Dropping USD 3 on a quiet Nasdaq day is not a particularly auspicious sign. Somrthing is up causing it to go down?!

pcquote.com

.aawpf QCOM April 30 Put @ USD 3.7/shr
QCOM share @ 36/shr
.aawdg QCOM April 35 Call @ USD 5.2/shr

... and so perhaps a long QCOM and short of the above put/call is a better way to go? Net cost of QCOM thus now at 36-3.7-5.2 = 27.1/shr, wait until April, either forced to buy more at 30, or sell what you got at 35, net cost of QCOM at 28.55, or recognize a gain of 29%.

Chugs, Jay

Hi David and Jay [there in the USA]. Good timing David. Lucky you to get some dopey analyst come out with some drivel. You bought only $1 from the bottom, so that's a good catch.

I think you'll be making a 10% paper profit in about 3 days.

Cellphone sales continue to roar and CDMA is the leading technological trajectory to the future. Gold is not.
