They need to decouple FNM/FRE debt from the implicit government guarantee...it's anticompetitive and basically gonna be the cause of more tough love and EV than anything else. It'll never happen, 'cause politically it's too painful. Therefore, the GSE's will be the anchor that drags J3P and the entire credit bubble under the waves for the 3rd time (the first time was the dot com bubble and the second time was 9/11).
