For all we know, gold could be signaling an imminent collapse in the dollar.

Look at these numbers:

Dow was up +118.80 Friday
Nasdaq closed at 1818.88 Friday

Looks like 18 rather than our beloved 19. Or maybe those markets are merely behind the eightball.

May I coin a phrase?

this is the weekly spx chart with technicals....the slow stochastics is still in down mode....am expecting the price bar to take out not only last september's low but also the low of 1998 on an intra-weekly basis...the CLOSING low on a weekly basis for 1998 was taken out in sept 2001.

what i hope/expect is that on the price bar we come down to the bottom of the channel that can be drawn on the price bar....the lower line starts with the april low of 2000 and crosses the april 2001 and the sept 2001 lows...where the current price comes in on that line i believe is around 850 or so on the spx
