I've used Datek for years and I've been very happy with the site, the speed and quality of executions. The only drawback, and its a big one, is that during times of extremely high market volume and volatility their site has been difficult to impossible to access. Recently I've gotten a chance to use scottrade.com and it made Datek look bad in terms of speed and quality of execution as well as the tools such as their streamer and live chart options and the ability to originate executions from those tools. Right now I'm using a combo of the two.
