I'm not at all sure that share dilution is illegal or unusual, though it certainly has always sucked, as it were. Basically, the "lenders of last resort," as you put it, have been there during the dilution occurring over "6 years." An explanation for this would be that the investors in question believe in the potential of the company and/or its employees/management. A consequence of the dilution is thus that there remains no debt load needing to be paid off, there are only stockholders who need get nothing out of thier investments in a bad ending. Still, with a giant debt load, Fonx might have followed the similar price path as it has, me thinks, and investors might be in the similar risky place as they are. Who can say when Fonx will lose its lifeblood? We only know Fonx always claimed potential financing was abundant, and that it has been so. I'm sure you are right that friends of company employees and insiders, believed in and recommended Fonix all along. Certainly you've pointed out the projections from long ago showing us what expectations didn't occur on time. Ditto, for the whole speech recognition industry, and typical analysis by independent research projection outfits, I do believe. What can ya say? Shit happens. Management perhaps pays itself too much, eh? But perhaps those financing the operations of Fonix approve, seeing value in the work being done, and knowing how difficult it is to find such individuals as will develop such technology. Investors at all levels have believed there is more than a rat hole in Fonix, and it is not surprising, since the evidence is huge that there may indeed be. Fonix has gotten some serious work done, as is evidenced in the use and praise of Fonix technology by such a long string of major players. Here's hoping speech technology is a success in general, and that Fonix maintains the strong technological position it appears to have now. It's a long gamble, but by god even YOU may live to not regret your investment in Fonix. Only time will tell. Dan B
