The big mystery yet to be revealed is who are the"investors" in the limited partnerships. These partnerships were vehicles used to "purchase" [rip off] assets from Enron at below market prices. This enriched the partners while hurting Enron share holders. Fastow and others extracted huge "fees" for these rip off transactions. When the names of those outside of Enron who benefited from these partnerships is revealed [Prominent politicians perhaps] the scandal really explodes to the front page.
