yes---for sure--but not day trading---i am strictly a position trader(by day trading days are history--plus i have never had an online trading account--if you lived where i did you would understand,i get on average two to three disconnects between 9a.m. and 4p.m.) My last year of rapid trading(the year 2000--when i saw my gross profits(rounded off numbers) were 4million dollars and my gross losses 3.915mllion for a net gain of 85k--(those numbers do have the commission costs EXTRACTED--my broker loved me though:).And i did this using a 1-800 phone line---that is a hassle. That after i had to take a break due to a malignant melanoma(a break of near a year),i realized i would never ever return to intraday trading--if i had an online account that i new would not be interrupted i would do intraday trading--but i don't have and will not have an online account).
I post what little bit of action i am doing now only once-i am over 90% cash now and will go to very highly invested at the approbiate moment.I will only be heavily invested when playing intermediate term swings, long or short depending on the circumstances.Hope that answers your question:) max
