And you know the dem's can not stand having Bush being so popular with the Latin community. On top of that we have a born again Christian,from a southern state,{where Dem's have ruled in the past} Who represents the majority of voters with his take action now principles.
The only thing the Republicans could do would be put Guiliano on the ticket,if Cheny can't be on for another term.
Then they would be assured of at least 3 more terms in the white house.
