I would argue that evil is merely what we don't like.
As such it seems a human construct (althougn I would never argue that animals do not have such a conception- I just have no idea whether they do or not)
Evil and good do not exist objectively imo. So I need no explanation, other than that. Good and evil are just words we use to impose order on events. It seems fairly obvious that they are relative concepts, since what is "good" tends to depend on who you are, and from what perspective you are looking at things.
