There is a big difference between saying u would buy SUNW at $7.50 and saying that you will short it to $7.50. With the first statement you get the chance to make some money, with the second you ricsk losing some.

I expect to see SUNW at $7.50 fairly soon, but the fact I wouldn't bet on it doesn't make the prediction invalid, it just means I am not willing to maje a risky trade. Nothing wrong with that.
