Sorry, I don't see why Trader B's would be "deluding" himself. Seems, from your example, that he is reaching a reasonable conclusion - presuming that there isn't something integral to his approach that results in a high pctg. of wins and a handful of big losers.

"How to Know When to Quit Trading" is a subject that traders generally don't talk about, but it is one that novices ought to think about carefully. I think there is a tremendous value in quitting for the right reason.
