"but the canadian gold index shows a different story"

If you factor in the weakening Canadian dollar then they ain't much different. Currencies skew everything from the price of stocks, houses, steel or sugar, but in the case of the last two US government intervention makes the skew even worse. (Probably skews house prices as well with the recent attack on Canadian lumber).

The US finds it politically expedient to either subsidize, restrict or impose tariffs rather than attack the root cause which is an over valued dollar.

These things always end badly, unfortunately....

DAILY CHART ANALYSIS: "i wouldn't put any money on this"....

would not mind see a down day to get a clear inication that we were putting in a 8 wave down on the daily gold stock charts....get the stochastics down near "20" or so.. for that FINAL bounce up into 9 and then we can begin the 19 weeks price wave move down...just some thoughts....not carved in stone.....:)
